About this compound

Mechanism and research context.

TB-500 is the synthetic version of Thymosin Beta-4 (Tβ4), a naturally occurring 43-amino-acid peptide first isolated from the thymus gland. In research models, Tβ4 has been investigated for its role in actin sequestration — binding G-actin monomers and modulating the dynamics of the cellular cytoskeleton during regenerative processes.

Published animal research has examined TB-500's effects on cardiac muscle regeneration following ischemic injury, wound healing kinetics in skin and corneal tissue, and the migration of cells implicated in tissue repair. Research has also looked at its anti-inflammatory and angiogenic activity in vascular models.

The synthetic 17-amino-acid fragment used in research peptides corresponds to the active region of the full Tβ4 protein. Human clinical applications remain investigational; most published evidence is from preclinical models.

How this batch was verified

Verified in Canada before listing.

01

Vetted manufacturing source.

Compounds sourced only from manufacturers who have been through extensive evaluation and vetting in our sourcing and procurement program.

02

Canadian lab verification — before shipping.

Every batch is independently tested at a Canadian laboratory before it lists. Verified in-country with full chain of custody — not sent overseas. The report we publish is from an independent Canadian lab, not the manufacturer or a third party lab outside of Canada.

Reconstitution guidance

Four steps. Standard across compounds.

01

Draw bacteriostatic water.

Use a reconstitution syringe to draw BAC water (bacteriostatic water, 0.9% benzyl alcohol).

02

Add slowly to the lyophilized vial.

Inject the water against the inside of the vial wall — do not shake.

03

Swirl until fully dissolved.

Gentle agitation only. The lyophilized cake should fully dissolve within a minute.

04

Refrigerate.

Reconstituted solution is typically stable for 28 days refrigerated.
